This service provides assistance with determining your blog goals and it’s purpose, defining your audience (or target market), and keyword research. I can also help you with your on-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) setup and recommend some great off-page SEO resources to build your Search Engine rankings up. In addition, I can provide you with guidance on how make your posts better for the Search Engines and for your readers too.
- Blog Marketing & Traffic Generation – Do you know which blog marketing methods are most effective and how to use them most effectively? This service will provide you with recommendations of the most effective blog marketing techniques, how to us them to their full potential, and how to generate traffic to your blog. I’ll also tell you which sites I recommend you use to assist in your marketing and branding efforts, and coach you on how to use them to build your blog readership.
- Monetization – Did you know that some bloggers are making a six figure income from their blogs? It’s true! Although most bloggers aren’t pulling in six figures, many of them are making a nice income from their blogs (that includes me). Would an extra $500-$2,000 per month help you? I can give the best ways to monetize your blog and help you implement them.
How much do you charge for your services?
I charge $50.00 per hour to perform any of the blog consulting services described above. If you decide to use my services, I will begin working with you to make your blog the best that it can be.
Will there be a contract between us?
Yes, I have a Consulting Agreement that we both will sign before beginning on your project. The Consulting Agreement is important and protects us both. It protects your confidential information (Wordpress login, FTP access information, etc.), establishes an expected high level of service, limits your liability on certain issues, and ensures billing and payments will be handled as agreed.
How do you handle time tracking and billing for your services?
I use FreshBooks for all of my consultant service time tracking, invoicing, and billing. Their system is a top-notch, secure, online software system. Their system allows me to keep very detailed records of the projects and tasks I work on, as well the time it takes me to complete each one of them. Once you become one of my clients, I will create your own personal Freshbooks client account from within my consultant account. This will allow you to log in and access your invoices, view reports, and even make payments online via PayPal.
How can I ensure that my project gets the time and attention it deserves?
I currently only take on three (3) consulting clients at a time. This ensures that I have enough time to work on each individual project a few hours per week and that there is no risk of “rushing” through anything because of having too many clients and too much to do.
